Aloha Barefoot Bowls

Aloha Barefoot Bowls

Don’t be biased, come enjoy some open-air networking drinks

To mark the last drinks of the year we’re tearing ourselves away from the bar (fear not, tis only for this month), breathing in some fresh air, feeling that astroturf between our toes and reliving the fun of yesteryear, with the third round of the AMC Lawn Bowls Night. Once again brought to you in partnership with the nice people at News Corp.

No shirt, no entry

Putting an island spin on the night is the strict dress-code – break out your best (worst?!) Hawaiian shirt people! Whether it was a gag-gift, an op-shop find or once the pinacle of your post-holiday wardrobe, we want to see your brightest, loudest shirt! Dazzle us with your audacious fashion. Deafen your opponents with some shirty volume. Embrace that floral pattern your nanna would be proud of!

What fun is in store?

Well, how about a few rounds of the best sport invented in the 13th century? And an instructor or two from the era to teach you in 5 minutes what takes a lifetime to master! If you’re peckish there’ll be pizza. If you’re thirsty there’ll be a couple of drinks to get your night flowing. And if you’re feeling charitable, there’ll be a charity raffle. But best of all, there’ll be prizes!

PRIZES!

Oh yes, we have cash-money prizes baby! If your team is good enough you could take home…

  • 1st Place: $400
  • 2nd Place: $200
  • 3rd Place: $100

Team tickets essential for this one.
