The 3rd Annual Adelaide Media Club / Advertiser & Messenger News Bowling Night Results

The third annual Newspaper Industry Bowling Night was a rocking success! A very big thank you to the evening’s sponsors: The Advertiser/Sunday Mail and Messenger News. Congratulations go to the HWR Fonzarellis who’s whopping score of 1,369 saw them take home the major prize; the shiny trophy, 5x $100 Westfield vouchers and bragging rights! Competition for best dressed was pretty difficult to judge, we were overwhelmed with everyone’s involvement, but eventually the MEC Wiggles, who complete with Big Red Car, were chosen as the night’s biggest Rockstars.

The fund-raising raffle raised an impressive amount of over $650 for our 2011 charities – Beyond Blue and Starlight Children’s Foundation SA. Another big thank you to everyone for their generosity, and a special thank you to our prize sponsors.

Just to let anyone checking the website, newsfeed or Twitter know, we had scheduled drinks for this evening (6 July) but for various reasons they’ve been canceled. Sorry bout that. But fear not, Thursday 11 Aug 2011 is a biggie, the 3rd Annual AMC/Newspaper Industry Bowling Night @ AMF Norwood so we’ll make up for lost time that night!
