Adelaide Media Club

With a turnout of over 170 people the Second Annual Adelaide Media Club TV Industry End Of Year Cocktail Party was our biggest and best ever. Once again a big thank you to our generous sponsors of the night – Seven Network, Channel Nine and Network Ten – thanks guys. And to everyone who bought tickets for the charity raffle, another thank you. You helped raised nearly $800.

The 3rd Annual AMC / Advertiser & Messenger News Bowling Night [11.08.10] The competition in the lanes was fierce, but it was 'The HWR Fonzarellis' who took the first prize trophy, with the runners up being MEC and 'Fairfax - I Can't Believe It's Not Gutter', And with the biggest and best fancy-dress ever, MEC were also victorious winning for their excellent ensemble as 'The Wiggles' (two years running!)

The second annual AMC/Radio Industry Quiz Night was a phenomenal success, thanks in part to the evening’s major sponsors: ARN, Austereo and DMG.

With over 280 people taking part it was our biggest and best quiz night ever. Congratulations go to the winning team, Starcom.

We'd also like to say a big thank to the many generous companies who donated the charity raffle prizes. And to everyone who bought tickets, you raised over $1,800 for Beyond Blue and Starlight Children’s Foundation – a massive effort and some great fundraising.

The AMC / Advertiser & Messenger Newspapers Bowling Night returned 19 Aug 2010 for its second year of balls-out fun and mayhem. With prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams plus the old favourite, the best fancy-dressed team prize, it was another night not to be missed.

In a first for Adelaide, we managed to get the three big radio networks (ARN, Austereo & DMG) to come together and play nicely to make this our biggest and best quiz night ever. With everyones favourite breakfast show presenters as quizmasters it was an epic battle for Adelaide supremacy – and that was just on stage!

Yet again the annual AMC bowling night was a big hit. The Inaugural Advertiser/Adelaide Media Club Bowling Night Trophy was won by Iceberg (St Peters Berg team) with second place going to O’Keeffe Media, and third to Iceberg (Scorching The Dave Lanes team). Well done to everyone and we hope you had a ball!
